Rotate PDF — rotate every page in your browser

Runs 100% in your browser — nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored.

Rotate all pages of a PDF by 90, 180 or 270 degrees and download the result. Runs locally with pdf-lib.

Rotates every page and downloads a new PDF via pdf-lib. Nothing leaves your device.

What the PDF rotate tool does

Open a PDF and rotate every page by 90, 180 or 270 degrees, then download the result. The rotation is added to whatever orientation each page already has, so a mix of portrait and landscape pages is handled correctly.

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded?
No. pdf-lib runs in the page, so the file is processed locally.

Does it change the content?
Only the page orientation. Text, images and links are preserved.

Can I rotate just one page?
This version rotates all pages by the same amount. For a single page, rotate the whole file and the unchanged pages keep their current orientation.

How to use it

  1. Open the tool page and click the file picker to select the PDF you want to rotate.
  2. Choose a rotation angle from the four options: 90 degrees clockwise, 180 degrees, 270 degrees clockwise, or 0 degrees to re-save without rotating.
  3. Click the “Rotate and download” button to process the file locally using pdf-lib.
  4. Download the resulting PDF, which contains every page rotated by the angle you selected.

Where it comes in handy

A 24-page contract was scanned portrait but needs to fit a landscape presentation template. Rotating all pages by 90 degrees in one pass saves opening each page individually in a full editor.

You receive a 150-page textbook as a single PDF where half the pages were printed upside down during binding. Selecting 180 degrees corrects the entire document at once rather than flipping each page separately.

A 400-page scan batch exported from a document scanner came out rotated 270 degrees because the feeder was loaded incorrectly. One operation fixes all pages without re-importing or re-scanning.

Worth knowing

  • The tool rotates every page by the same amount. You cannot rotate only selected pages in this version — all pages shift together.
  • A 0-degree option re-saves the PDF without changing orientation. Use it when you need to strip metadata or compact the file, but not to correct rotation.
  • Rotation is additive. If a page already has an embedded rotation tag, the new angle adds to it, which can produce unexpected orientations on mixed-source documents.
