The following disclaimers apply to all content on TinkerLog, including our tools, calculators, articles, and the product and tech notes we publish. By using the site you acknowledge and accept them.
Affiliate disclosure
TinkerLog participates in affiliate advertising programs. Some of our review and buying-guide pages contain links to third-party retailers (such as Amazon and others). If you click one of these links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. This comes at no additional cost to you — the price you pay is the same whether or not you use our link.
Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial decisions. We recommend products because we think they are good, not because they pay us. This disclosure is provided in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s guidelines on endorsements.
Not professional advice
The content on this site is provided for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional advice. In particular:
- Financial tools (loan, mortgage, compound-interest, and currency calculators) produce estimates using the inputs you provide. They are not financial advice. Consult a qualified financial advisor, lender, or tax professional before making decisions that affect your money.
- Health tools (BMI and age calculators) are screening aids only. They do not diagnose any condition. Speak with a licensed healthcare provider about your health.
- Legal matters should be reviewed by a qualified attorney in your jurisdiction.
Tool accuracy
Our calculators are designed to be accurate and are verified against known values, but they are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Formulas, conversion factors, and — for the currency converter — exchange rates may contain errors or become outdated. Always double-check important results, especially for financial, medical, or legal decisions.
Content accuracy
We strive to keep articles, prices, and specifications current, but product details, availability, and pricing change constantly and may be out of date. Never rely solely on this site for time-sensitive or consequential decisions.
External links
This site links to third-party websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or accuracy, and a link does not imply endorsement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TinkerLog and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or its tools. You use the site at your own risk.
