Switch text between UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case, camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case.
What the case converter does
Paste text and switch it between UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case, camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case. Useful for headings, code identifiers and clean copy. Runs entirely in the browser.
Frequently asked questions
What is Title Case?
Capitalises the first letter of each word. Sentence case capitalises only the first letter of each sentence.
Will camelCase / snake_case keep my punctuation?
No — those formats strip punctuation and join words, which is what code identifiers need. Use upper/lower/title to keep punctuation.
Is my text uploaded?
No. Conversion happens as you click, in the page.
How to use it
- Type or paste your text into the first input field.
- Click one of the case buttons—UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case, camelCase, snake_case, or kebab-case.
- View the converted result in the second input field below.
- Select the output text and copy it to your clipboard when ready.
Where it comes in handy
A developer pastes a CSV of 60 product codes that must become valid JavaScript identifiers in snake_case. All hyphens and spaces disappear, and each word joins cleanly without manual editing.
An editor formats a 1,800-word blog post where the headline requires Title Case and every paragraph needs sentence case. They process each section separately and spot inconsistencies immediately.
A designer exports 35 filenames from a document and converts them to kebab-case so they work correctly in a web deployment where spaces and capitals cause broken links.
Worth knowing
- camelCase and snake_case strip all punctuation and collapse multiple spaces into a single separator. Apostrophes, commas, and em dashes are removed entirely, so quoted terms lose their quotes.
- Title Case capitalises every word without exception, including articles, prepositions, and conjunctions. There is no built-in rule for excluding small words like “of” or “and”.
- The tool processes text entirely in the browser, so nothing is uploaded to a server. However, it does not save your previous conversions between page reloads, and there is no undo function once you click a new option.
