The short version: what you type into a tool stays on your device. The AI tools are the exception, and they are spelled out below.
Most privacy policies are long because the site is doing a lot of collecting. This one is short because this one mostly is not. The tools are written so that the sensitive part — your data — never reaches a server.
What you enter into a tool
Nothing, in the tools that run locally. The calculators, converters and developer tools run as JavaScript inside your browser. When you paste a JSON document into the formatter, a token into the JWT decoder, or a password into the generator, that content is processed in the page and is not transmitted anywhere. There is no API call carrying your input, no analytics event containing it, and no server-side log of it.
You do not have to take that on trust. Open your browser’s developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and use any tool on the site — you will not see a request carrying your data. That is the practical difference between a tool that runs locally and one that only says it does.
AI-powered tools
AI Studio, AI Photo, the AI Regex Generator and the AI Trend Brief work differently. They generate their results with an AI model, so the input for that request — the text you type, or the photo you upload — is sent to the model and used for the generation you asked for. It is not saved in a database on our side and is not reused for anything else. What the model provider itself retains is governed by their own privacy policy. Every other tool on this site runs locally in your browser, as described above.
What is collected
Running a website involves some baseline data, and it would be dishonest to claim otherwise:
- Server logs. The web server records requests: IP address, timestamp, the page requested and your browser’s user-agent string. This is standard for any website and is used for security and to see which pages are broken.
- Cookies. A cookie consent banner is shown where required by law, and your choice is stored so you are not asked repeatedly. Essential cookies keep the site working.
- Aggregate analytics, if you consent. If you accept analytics cookies, we see things like page view counts and approximate country. We do not use this to build a profile of you and we do not sell it.
What is never done
- Your tool inputs are never stored, logged or sold. They leave your device only for the AI generation you asked for (see above).
- Your email address is never added to a mailing list unless you ask to be on one.
- No account is required, so there is no password of yours for us to lose.
Third parties
The site is served by a hosting provider and may load fonts or scripts from external services. Those providers see your IP address as part of serving the request, as they would for any site. We do not pass them anything you entered into a tool, because we do not have it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, and to object to certain processing. Given how little is held, a request will usually be answered by confirming there is nothing beyond routine server logs. To make one, email sunfei0318@gmail.com.
Children
The site is a general-purpose set of utilities and is not directed at children. No account or personal profile is created for any visitor.
Changes to this policy
If the site starts collecting something new, this page will say so before it happens rather than after. The date below reflects the last substantive change.
